Inhalt: Zwei Mal pro Jahr bildet das kuratierte Programm im Filmhaus Basel das Schweizer Filmschaffen ab und verbindet dabei diverse audiovisuelle Produktionen mit einem Überthema. Durch die Gegen- überstellung unterschiedlicher Positionen erforschen die Kurzfilme dabei den Begriff und beleuchten Interpretationsmöglichkeiten. Geladene Filmmakers aus dem nationalen Filmschaffen kommen in Kontakt mit der lokalen Filmszene, Kreative aus dem Basler Umfeld bekommen die Möglichkeit, ihre eigenen Kompetenzen durch einen Austausch zu erweitern und gleichzeitig ist der Rahmen offen genug gestaltet, sodass auch das Publikum in Berührung mit dem Medium Film kommt.

Content: Twice a year, the curated program at Filmhaus Basel presents Swiss filmmaking and combines various audiovisual productions with an overarching theme. By juxtaposing different positions, the short films explore the concept and shed light on possible interpretations. Invited filmmakers from the national film industry come into contact with the local film scene, creative people from the Basel area are given the opportunity to expand their own skills through an exchange and at the same time the framework is open enough for the audience to come into contact with the medium of film.
